Overview
Crescent Beach State Park is a mile-long crescent-shaped sand beach in Cape Elizabeth, about eight miles south of Portland. The beach faces a sheltered part of the ocean and runs calmer than most open Atlantic shore beaches, which is what makes it popular with families. A bathhouse, playground, picnic grounds, and seasonal kayak / SUP rental make it a full-day stop.
