Overview
Great East Lake is a deep, clear glacial lake straddling the Maine / New Hampshire border between Acton and Shapleigh, in York County. It is a classic cold, spring-fed border lake with public boat landings, summer camps, and modest sandy pockets at the access points rather than a wide public beach.
