The shore runs mostly through private timber land and the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust with some public landings and South Arm Campground access. Water runs deep and cold.

Getting there
From Andover on Route 120, follow South Arm Road north to the South Arm Campground and landing on the south end of Richardson Lake. Additional landings sit on the Upper Dam / Mooselookmeguntic side via Rangeley. Roads are partly private and seasonal.
