Sebasticook Lake is a large central-Maine lake straddling Newport and Corinna in Penobscot County, with public beaches and landings on both ends. The Newport town beach at Dolloff's Beach and the Corinna landing are the usual swim anchors; the lake is shallow and warms early compared with deeper Maine lakes. Algae blooms have been reported in hot, stagnant summers; check current advisories.

Getting there
In Newport, work toward Dolloff's Beach on the east shore, or use the Corinna town landing at the north end. Both sides connect to the I-95 corridor via Route 7 / Route 11.
