Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park
Freeport, Maine
Freeport coastal state park on Casco Bay with wooded trails, cobble shoreline, tide pools, and osprey-island viewpoints.
At a glance
Overview
Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is a Freeport coastal state park with trails through spruce-fir woods down to Casco Bay shoreline ledges, small pebble beaches, and tide-pool pockets. It is not a classic sand-beach swim park; wading and short dips happen from cobble beaches at low tide. Come for the trails and the osprey island viewpoint first, the water second.
