Overview
Billings Falls is one of the signature drops inside the Gulf Hagas National Natural Landmark, on the West Branch of the Pleasant River north of Greenville. The gulf is a long canyon-like run of ledges and plunge pools; Billings sits in the middle of the loop and is famous for its overlook ledge above a green pool. Access is via the Appalachian Trail / Rim Trail, with a wade of the Pleasant River at the start.

Getting there
From Greenville, drive to the KI Jo-Mary checkpoint and continue to the Gulf Hagas trailhead at the Head of the Gulf or Hay Brook parking. The loop starts with a ford of the West Branch Pleasant River; Billings Falls sits along the Rim Trail partway around.
