Brunswick Falls
Brunswick, Maine
Androscoggin River dam drop at Fort Andross between Brunswick and Topsham; viewing and history, not a swim.
At a glance
Overview
Brunswick Falls is the drop on the Androscoggin River at the Fort Andross dam, between downtown Brunswick and Topsham. The natural falls were dammed generations ago; today the view is the dam face, tailrace, and the old mill complex of Fort Andross, with the Androscoggin River Walk and Mason Street fishway on the Brunswick side. It is a viewing, history, and seasonal fish-run stop, not a swim.
