At a glance
Overview
Long Falls is the historic drop on the Dead River at the outlet of Flagstaff Lake, now held back by Long Falls Dam in T3 R4 BKP WKR, Somerset County. Most of the natural cascade is submerged or controlled by the dam, so on-site the site reads as a dam overlook and launch point for the Dead River corridor. Stay off the dam structure and above the release gates.
