Mother Walker Falls
Grafton, Maine
A deep gorge cascade on Bear River in Grafton Notch State Park, Oxford County, Maine.
At a glance
Overview
Mother Walker Falls is a deep, narrow gorge cascade on Bear River inside Grafton Notch State Park in Grafton Township, Oxford County. A short signed loop from the roadside lot drops onto viewing ledges over the tiered drop, which is largely hidden from the road. Like Moose Cave just up the notch, it is a viewing feature; the gorge walls are steep and the water is cold and fast.
