Moxie Falls is one of the tallest single-drop waterfalls in New England, on Moxie Stream in Moxie Gore near The Forks, Somerset County. A well-signed state-maintained trail of about three-quarters of a mile each way drops to viewing platforms at the brink and base of the roughly ninety-foot plunge. It is a viewing destination; swimming is not advisable in the gorge below. Note: the stored coordinates on this guide do not match the known location of Moxie Falls and should be verified in the field.

Getting there
From The Forks on Route 201, follow Lake Moxie Road east to the signed Moxie Falls trailhead. The trail is about three-quarters of a mile each way to the viewing platforms; footing is mostly easy but slick on wet boards.
