At a glance
Overview
Orin Falls is a broad, bedrock-ledge cascade on Wassataquoik Stream deep inside Baxter State Park, reached by a long walk from the Russell Pond / Wassataquoik Stream Trail network in T4 R8 WELS. The falls slide over a wide pale ledge into shallow pools and are a beloved backcountry destination in Baxter's Wassataquoik Valley. This is a Baxter State Park remote interior hike, not a roadside stop.
