At a glance
Overview
Pollywog Gorge is a tiered gorge cut through ledge in Weld, in western Franklin County's Tumbledown country. The drop is scenic but small, and it is not the better-known Pollywog Gorge on the AT near Nahmakanta. Wet ledge is slick year-round, and the pools below the drop run cold.
