Overview
Rumford Falls is a major multi-drop waterfall on the Androscoggin River in downtown Rumford, Oxford County. The falls have been harnessed for paper and power for generations; today a riverfront park and bridge walk along Route 108 give a close view from town. It is one of the largest falls by volume east of Niagara.

Getting there
From Route 2 / 108 in downtown Rumford, park along the riverfront near the Rumford Falls area and walk to the bridge overlook on the Androscoggin River. The falls are easily visible from town. Stay behind railings; current is extreme.
