At a glance
Overview
Upper Dunn Falls is the upper member of the Dunn Falls pair on the West Branch of the Ellis River / Cascade Brook in the Andover / Grafton Township area, along the Appalachian Trail in the Mahoosucs. The approach uses the AT and the spur into Dunn Notch; it is a working day hike with steep footing to the best views. Water is cold and the ledges are slick; this is a photography and hiking destination, not a swim.
