At a glance
Overview
Dyer Pond is a Wellfleet kettle pond inside Cape Cod National Seashore, reached by a short sand-and-root path from a small pull-off on Dyer Pond Road. Classic Outer Cape freshwater — clear entry, quick shelf to depth, pitch-pine shoreline. No lifeguard and no services; CCNS rules apply (no glass, no fires, dogs on leash outside posted beach areas). Arrive early on hot summer days — the pull-off fills fast.
