At a glance
Overview
East Brimfield Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reservoir straddling Sturbridge, Brimfield, and Holland. The Long Pond / Holland-side beach is the public swim area, with a sand shelf, seasonal lifeguards, and a boat launch nearby. The reservoir is drawn down in winter for flood-control storage — expect exposed flats off-season. Parking is free, and the lot fills on hot weekends. USACE rules are posted at the beach.
