Lake Buel Beach
Monterey, Massachusetts
Lake Buel has no public beach — only a Mass Wildlife boat launch in Monterey. Shoreline is private; use Lake Garfield for a town beach.
At a glance
Overview
Lake Buel does not have a public beach. Shoreline is almost entirely private, and the only public access point is the Mass Wildlife / DCR Public Access Board boat launch on Pixley Road (Route 57) in Monterey. It's a paved concrete ramp and trailer lot — good for a paddle or a fishing launch, not a beach day. For a Monterey town beach, see Lake Garfield.
