Overview
Lake Mansfield Beach is the Great Barrington rec-area beach on the east shore of Lake Mansfield, off Lake Mansfield Road. The area has limited lifeguard coverage in season; children 12 and under need adult supervision, and diving is prohibited. Boats are electric-motor only, and fishing is not allowed inside the beach area. No dogs on the beach or in the picnic area, no glass, no alcohol without a permit.

Getting there
From Main Street in Great Barrington, turn onto Christian Hill Road and then Lake Mansfield Road. The rec-area lot is on the east shore; the beach, playground, and trails start from the same lot.
