Overview
Lithia Springs Reservoir is a drinking-water reservoir inside the Mount Holyoke Range State Park corridor in South Hadley. Swimming and wading are prohibited, and the spring itself is fenced off with no-swim postings. Access is by foot only — park on the left side of Lithia Springs Road past the pavement, or use the Route 116 Hiker Lot between 478 and 502 Amherst Road if the main lot is full.

Getting there
From Route 116 in South Hadley, turn onto Pearl Street and then Lithia Springs Road. Park only on the left side past the pavement ends. If full, use the Route 116 Hiker Lot between 478 and 502 Amherst Road and walk in.
