At a glance
Overview
Margaret Lindley Park is a Town of Williamstown park on Cold Spring Road (Route 7) with an artificial swim pond created by damming Hemlock Brook. The beach, picnic tables, grills, and restrooms are free and open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, dawn to dusk, with a ranger on duty in season. Dogs and alcohol are prohibited. Because the pond is brook-fed, the town closes swimming after heavy rain when bacteria levels spike.
