Overview
Mineral Hills Conservation Area is a wooded City of Northampton preserve on the Westhampton line, managed with Kestrel Land Trust and the Friends of Mineral Hills. The trail network covers hilly forest, an abandoned rock quarry, beaver ponds, and small brooks, with the main trailhead at the end of Turkey Hill Road. It is a hike-and-bike property — no sanctioned swimming and no lifeguard.

Getting there
Use the Turkey Hill Road trailhead lot at the Northampton / Westhampton line for the main Mineral Hills network. Sylvester Road and Kennedy Road offer alternate entries. The loop climbs through hardwoods past the old quarry and beaver wetlands.
