At a glance
Overview
Prospect Lake Park Beach was the beach at the old Prospect Lake Park campground in North Egremont. The property sold in 2022 and is now Prospect Berkshires, a private lakeside retreat with cabins, a pool, and restaurant. Egremont has a negotiated agreement giving town residents swim and boating access. Non-residents should treat the beach as private — a public boat launch on Prospect Lake is the legitimate walk-in access for paddlers and anglers.
