The beach is gated and lifeguarded in season; off-season, people walk over from the separate public boat launch on the other side of the pond. No dogs, no smoking; resident stickers are checked at the gate.

Getting there
From Swamp Road on the northwest shore of Richmond Pond, follow signs to the Richmond Town Beach gate. Residents of Richmond or Pittsfield show stickers at the booth. Non-residents should use the separate public boat launch on the pond for paddling; the beach is not open to them.
