At a glance
Overview
Whiting's Pond Beach is North Attleborough's town freshwater beach, open to residents of North Attleborough and Plainville with a paid beach/pond pass (about $25 per vehicle; $5 senior). Swim is 'at your own risk' — starting 2025 the town moved from staffed lifeguards to posted signage because of open-water insurance changes. Expect periodic E. coli closures and a standing mercury fish-consumption advisory.
