Briggs Brook Falls is a tall, seasonal cascade in Erving at the foot of Farley Ledges, reached from an eight-car lot on Briggs Street and a short spur off the Metacomet-Monadnock Trail. Best in April and May — it thins to a trickle in dry summers. It is not inside Erving State Forest.

Getting there
From Route 2 in Erving, turn onto Briggs Street. The Farley Ledges / M&M Trail lot is signed with an 8-car limit. Walk east down Briggs Street about 100 feet and enter the woods on the left onto the white-blazed Metacomet-Monadnock Trail; the falls are upstream at the first footbridge.
