Campbell Falls is a 50-foot cascade on the Whiting River that drops through a zig-zagging gorge right across the Massachusetts-Connecticut state line. The land is split between Campbell Falls State Park Reserve in New Marlborough, MA and the Connecticut DEEP unit in Norfolk, CT. The MA trailhead on Campbell Falls Road is closest to the overlook; the CT side off Spaulding Road adds a short downstream view.

Getting there
MA side: from Route 57 in New Marlborough, take Campbell Falls Road to the signed MA Campbell Falls lot near a chain-link fence. Walk in a few minutes to the gorge overlook and stone state-line marker. CT side: Spaulding Road in Norfolk gives a short downstream approach.
