Overview
Knightville Dam is a US Army Corps of Engineers flood-control dam on the East Branch Westfield River in Huntington. It's used recreationally for hiking, mountain biking, and fishing along the river basin trails; USACE does not list swimming as a sanctioned activity. The dam outlet and the ledges below it are a drop-in hazard — treat it as a viewing stop and trail day, not a swim.
