At a glance
Overview
Konkapot Falls is a short roadside cascade on the Konkapot River in Monterey, reached from a gap in the guardrails on River Road off Route 23. A gravel footpath about 100 feet long drops to the pool and ledges. It is small, scenic, and distinct from Umpachene Falls over in Mill River (New Marlborough). Treat it as a quick viewing stop, not a destination swim.
