At a glance
Overview
March Cataract Falls is a tall, slender cascade off the western flank of Mt. Greylock in the Mt. Greylock State Reservation. The standard approach parks at the CCC Dynamite / Sperry Road junction off Rockwell Road, walks down Sperry Road toward the campground area, and then follows a steep half-mile spur trail to the base of the falls. Flow is seasonal — best in spring and after rain. Confirm DCR trail status in advance; the spur has been listed closed in past years.
