October Mountain Falls is a small cascade on October Mountain Brook inside October Mountain State Forest, on the Washington side of the ridge above Woodland Road. It is a pull-off-and-scramble waterfall, not a developed trailhead — look for a limited shoulder spot and a short herd-path descent through hemlocks to the drops. Flow drops off fast in dry summer.

From Washington, follow Woodland / West Branch Road into October Mountain State Forest. Watch for a limited shoulder pull-off where October Mountain Brook crosses under the road; a short herd-path drops through hemlocks to the cascade. Not signed.
