Roaring Brook Falls is a small tiered cascade in October Mountain State Forest, reached from the Roaring Brook Trail off New Lenox Road on the east side of Lenox. The trail follows the brook for a short distance to the cascades; it's a quiet, low-traffic stop compared with the tourist Lenox circuit. Parking is limited pull-off space at the trailhead. Viewing only; slick rock.

Getting there
From Route 7 in Lenox, follow New Lenox Road east toward October Mountain. Park at the small dirt pull-off for the Roaring Brook Trail and follow the brook upstream to the cascades. Do not block gates or private driveways.
