Roaring Falls is a roughly 18-foot punchbowl drop on Roaring Brook inside Mount Toby State Forest in Sunderland. The standard approach is from the Cranberry Pond parking at 1 Reservation Road, following the white-blazed Tower Road about 1.1 miles to a blue-blazed spur that drops steeply to the brook. Flow is best in spring snowmelt and after rain; in dry months it runs to a trickle. Slick rock, moderate-to-hard hike.

Getting there
Park at the Cranberry Pond lot at 1 Reservation Road in Sunderland (Mount Toby State Forest). Follow the white-blazed Tower Road roughly 1.1 miles, then take the blue-blazed Roaring Falls spur that drops steeply to the brook. Short scramble upstream to the punchbowl.
