At a glance
Overview
Royalston Falls Pool is the plunge pool at the base of the 45-foot Royalston Falls, deep in the narrow Falls Brook gorge on Trustees of Reservations land. Access is from the Royalston Falls trailhead off Route 32 via the Tully Trail / New England Trail; the descent to the base is steep, slippery, and not recommended for small children. Treat it as a viewing and photo stop — swimming is strongly discouraged because of the narrow gorge and debris.
