Overview
Turners Falls is the historic Connecticut River rapids at the Turners Falls Dam, in the village of Turners Falls within the town of Montague. Most of the flow is diverted through the Turners Falls Canal to the Cabot Station powerhouse, so the falls themselves are usually dewatered except at high flow. View the dam and canal from the Great Falls Discovery Center, Rotary Riverfront Park, or the Gill-Montague bridge.
