At a glance
Overview
Umpachene Falls Park is a small town-owned park in the Southfield village of New Marlborough, MA where Umpachene Brook tiers down to the Konkapot River. Swimming happens in a shallow river pool and small beach above the falls, not below them — the falls themselves are steep and slippery. The park is day-use, gate-hours only, and charges a non-resident fee during the posted summer season. Expect a family-park feel with picnic tables and port-a-lets.
