Wahconah Falls
Dalton, Massachusetts
DCR day-use park in Dalton with a strong single-drop cascade. Short walk from the lot to the overlook and base pool — viewing first.
At a glance
Overview
Wahconah Falls is a strong single-drop cascade on Wahconah Falls Brook inside Wahconah Falls State Park, a small DCR day-use park off Wahconah Falls Road in Dalton, MA. A short, lightly graded path leads from the gravel lot to the overlook and the pool at the base. The pool is shallow and the falls are powerful — people wade at the edges, but the main draw is viewing, not swimming. Expect families, dogs on leash, and a tight lot on hot summer weekends.
