Getting there
From North Adams, drive east on Route 2. About 1.3 miles past the Charlemont town-line sign, pull into the marked pull-off on the south side of the road. If the 30-minute lot is full, use the next pull-off roughly half a mile west and walk back along the shoulder. Short scramble down to the river.
