At a glance
Overview
Windsor Jambs is the dramatic 80-foot-deep granite slot canyon in Windsor State Forest, with Windsor Jambs Brook cascading between sheer walls. DCR posts clear prohibitions: no swimming, no climbing in the gorge. Parking is the Schoolhouse Road lot; the Jambs Trail runs along the rim with viewing points. Keep kids and dogs tight — the drop-offs are serious.
