Chandler Gorge
Bartlett, New Hampshire
A compact gorge on a south-Bartlett brook in the Mount Washington Valley, with a short approach and real drop-offs.
At a glance
Overview
Chandler Gorge is a compact gorge feature on a brook on the south side of Bartlett, a quieter Mount Washington Valley stop that rewards careful footing over distance. The approach is short but the gorge itself has wet slick rock and real drop-offs on the viewing ledges — stay on the dry side of the water and keep kids within arm's reach. Pair with Diana's Baths or the Saco River for a day in the Mount Washington Valley.
