At a glance
Overview
Cloudland Falls is a big polished-granite cascade in Franconia Notch on Dry Brook, reached via the Falling Waters Trail from Lafayette Place on I-93. The full route passes Stairs Falls and Swiftwater Falls on the way up and tops out at the broad cascade face of Cloudland, which reads best with moderate or high flow. Most hikers continue above Cloudland on the Franconia Ridge Loop; as a waterfall-only destination it's a ~3.2-mile round trip from the trailhead with a serious grade in the upper half.
