At a glance
Overview
Dry River Falls is a committed deep-Crawford Notch waterfall on the Dry River in the Dry River Wilderness, reached via the Dry River Trail from US 302 in Hart's Location. Full out-and-back is long — most logged trips are 6–7 miles round trip on rough WMNF trail that includes river-crossings without bridges after washouts. This is a hikers-only destination; treat it as a full-day commitment, not a casual stop. Flow can be dangerous during and after rain because the Dry River is flashy.
