Falls on the Howker Ridge Trail
Randolph, New Hampshire
A cluster of RMC waterfalls on the Howker Ridge Trail in Randolph on the Presidential north slope.
At a glance
Overview
The Howker Ridge Trail in Randolph is one of the RMC routes up Mt Madison from US 2, and it passes a cluster of small named waterfalls on the way: Stairs Falls, Devil's Kitchen, Kelton Cascade, Hitchcock Fall, and Coosauk Fall. This is a serious mountain trail — steep once you leave the lower brook, and a long committed day if you continue to the Madison summit. For a waterfall-only visit, turn around after Coosauk Fall.
