At a glance
Overview
Sewalls Falls is the broad rocky rapid stretch on the Merrimack River at the north end of Concord, where a rock-crib dam once stood. Sewalls Falls Park is a Concord city park with a NH Fish and Game parking lot on Sewalls Falls Road and a second entry from Second Street, with roughly three miles of flat riverside trails, picnic areas, and informal river access. It is a local walking and paddling spot rather than a scenic cascade destination.
