At a glance
Overview
Silver Cascade and Flume Cascade are the twin roadside waterfalls on the east wall of Crawford Notch in Hart's Location, visible right off US 302 near the top of the notch. They drop down long grooved granite slides from Mount Webster and Mount Jackson and are about 0.1 mile apart, with separate paved pull-offs across the road from each. No developed trail - it is a stop-and-look spot. Traffic on US 302 moves fast through the notch, and the shoulder rocks stay slick from spray.
