At a glance
Overview
Thirteen Falls is a remote cascade complex on Franconia Brook in the Pemigewasset Wilderness, in Lincoln. It is a committed backcountry day: the standard approach from the Lincoln Woods Trailhead on NH 112 runs Lincoln Woods Trail to Franconia Brook Trail and on to the falls area, roughly 18+ miles round trip for most routes, with camping restrictions typical of the Pemi Wilderness. Expect river crossings and no facilities. Not a scenic stop — plan a full backcountry day or overnight.
