Overview
Thompson Falls is a multi-drop cascade on Thompson Brook on the west slope of Wildcat Mountain in Pinkham's Grant. The trailhead is in the Wildcat Mountain Ski Area base lot: cross the footbridge near the base lodge, pick up the Way of the Wildcat trail, and follow the Thompson Falls spur to the viewpoint. It is roughly 1.2 miles out-and-back - an easy family-friendly hike, known but not crowded. Expect slick wet rock near the ledges.

Getting there
From NH 16 in Pinkham Notch, turn into the Wildcat Mountain Ski Area base lot. Cross the footbridge near the lodge, follow the Way of the Wildcat nature trail, and branch onto the Thompson Falls spur - about 0.6 mi each way.
