Welton Falls is a tiered waterfall on Fowler River in Welton Falls State Forest in Alexandria, on the east side of Mount Cardigan. Access is via the Manning Trail from the Cardigan State Forest / Shem Valley / Manning trailhead — a moderate ~2.4 mile round-trip forest walk with a steep descent to the falls. Granite ledges and a small pool below the drop; cold Fowler River water. Best with moderate to high flow.
