Warwick Pond
Warwick, Rhode Island
Shallow Warwick pond with informal put-in on Stanmore Road. Recurring blue-green algae advisory — not a swim.
At a glance
Overview
Warwick Pond is a shallow freshwater pond tucked between Route 2 and the airport in Warwick. It has no formal public park or swim beach — access is an informal hand-carry put-in at the end of Stanmore Road off Edgehill. RI DEM and Department of Health have repeatedly advised against contact with the water because of blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) blooms. Treat it as a paddle-and-look pond, not a swim.
