Overview
Wyoming Pond is a small 26-acre impoundment of the Wood River at the Wyoming Upper Dam in Richmond, right at the Route 3 / Route 138 intersection. RI DEM operates a gravel boat ramp with parking for about a dozen vehicles; the pond is stocked with trout several times each spring. A hand-carry launch at the Skunk Hill Road bridge at the north end lets paddlers put in where the Wood River enters the pond.
