At a glance
Overview
Yawgoog Pond is the heart of Yawgoog Scout Reservation, a Narragansett Council Boy Scouts of America camp in the Rockville section of Hopkinton. Founded in 1916, Yawgoog is one of the oldest continuously operating scout camps in the country. The pond is the waterfront for the reservation's three camps — Three Point, Medicine Bow, and Sandy Beach — and use is restricted to registered campers, staff, off-season camper-canoe rentals, and council events. It is not a public swim pond.
